Table Tennis World Championship
A downloadable game
This game was made for the "Marlin´s Olympics Game Jam 2021". Unfortunetly I didnt see that there was a restriction until the last day. The restriction was "no balls" xD
This is a short World Championship Simulator of Table Tennis.
The rules in the game are as following (had no time to implement a tutorial):
- When you hit the ball it always has to land on the other table side.
- The ball is only allowed to bounce on your table side once.
How to play:
You move your bat with the mouse cursor. When you touch the ball you activate a sort of bullet time which stops time completly and you got time to align your shot. You can cancle the time stop with the right mouse button and shoot with the left mouse button.
Credits:
A Twitch viewer by the name "letsbigsnack" did the art for the bats and the table, I did the rest myself.

Install instructions
Either you use the installer which installs the game on your windows pc. Otherwise you can donwload the .zip which you need to unpack completly. Then you can start the .exe

What a unique game to be made in a week. I'm so sorry we couldn't get it all figured out before the voting period ended :( This is a really cool game! The bullet time feature is clever and makes the game fun while still being challenging. The AI is really well thought out too. Great job on everything!
