This is my submission for the GDKO 2025 Round 2, in which the goal was to create a enganging narrative, include one animal character that is not the player and include projectiles.

Unfortunetly my time ran out, due to bad planning.
My goal was to create these huge cave levels and tell a story, so I had to rework my code for the rock handling and mining from round 1. This alone took roughly 8-10 hours, until all the code was bug free. I switched from an instance-based rock mining to a tilemap based system. This greatly improved the performance with more than 2000 rocks in the level.

Things I learned this round:
- creating my own pixelated line renderer on a grid for laser collision detection
- creating a dynamic dialogue system
- deeper knowledge of cutscenes in game maker 2
