DIG DEEP
This is my submission to GDKO2025 Round 1.
The game was made in 2 weeks and the main focus was to develop 2 game mechanics that synergise together to make progress.
My game-mechanics are:
1. Mining Blocks with the handheld laser
2. Upgrading the Player and progress to new levels inside the upgrade tree
Controls:
WASD to Move
Mouse to aim
Left Click to interact
P to toggle the cursor (in case the custom cursor doesnt show up in your browser)
New things i did in this game:
This is my first time creating a upgrade-tree
Dynamic screen transition
Map creation using auto-tiling
Graphics:
This is partly the desert shooter asset pack from Kenny. I made the rock, iron ore, upgrade-pod, laserbeam and upgrade-icons textures myself.
